Aio Card output

Post by Rrossi »

Dear Kunbus team,

I have an AIO Card which I use to get data from analog sensors. In Pictory I set the channels to 4-20mA. I assumed the output from piTest was 0-65325 because piTest shown 61125 with one cabling configuration and 4200 when I swapped the cables (+ and - were wrongly connected ).
In this forum I read that the output is actually in uA, so my questions are:
* does the configuration in Pictory have any influence on the output? Like 0-20mA or 4-24mA?
* if I set it to Voltage output, will the output in mV? Which influence has the configuration in Pictory on the output? (like 0-10V or - 10 - +10V)

Thank you
Rubens

Hi Rubens, have a look at tutorial How to Configure Analog Output
The output values for scaling factor 1 always have to be stored in the process image in the unit mV or µA respectively.
