Temperature reading with Modbus RTU

My project pictures as above. A temperature sensor is connected to the ModBus RTU. I want to read this temperature with python. Could you help?

Hi I think unfortunately this will just be possible with some modifications to your hardware setup. The RevPi Gate Modbus RTU Slave cannot request information from the sensor. You need a Modbus RTU Master. It is possible that you just add the virtual device Modbus RTU Master to PiCtory and a USB-Serial adapter like this from our shop. Have a look at the video tutorial #21 to see how easy you may enable this. Or you switch to the RevPi Connect which has a RS485 interface already included.
