Connecting the Power Supply

Do not connect the RevPi MIO to the power supply until all other devices and plugs are connected. If the RevPi MIO is already connected to the power source before you connect other devices, your devices may be destroyed. So please make sure the wiring is correct.

We provide a connector that you can use to connect your RevPi module to the power supply. You will also need:

  • Power supply unit
  • The RevPi MIO requires maximum 10 W
  • Cable (cross-section 0.35 – max. 2.5 mm2)
  • If you use stranded wire, apply suitable wire end sleeves

In environments where interference is particularly high, you can connect the functional ground to increase the device”s interference resistance. Use as short a stranded wire as possible with the highest possible cross section to connect the functional ground connection to the grounded mounting plate via a ring cable lug or similar. Interference resistance in accordance with EN 61000-6-2 will not be achieved without a functional ground connection.
