Is there a software or hardware way to remotely turn on the RevPi?
I am thinking if Wake-on-Lan or similar methods would work.
On the other hand, I know that the raspberry pi's have an option to short 2 GPIO pins which results in a reboot.
Is it possible to remotely turn on the RevPi ?

Hi unfortunately the wake on lan functionality is not supported. The Ethernet hardware is connected to the USB subsystem. Therefore power management support via Ethernet is technically not possible (currently). By the way, it's the same with the RaspberryPi.
