Ubuntu Core No Video Out

As the title suggests after installing the Ubuntu Core image, I get no HDMI output to setup the device. Is the device compatible with this OS?

Found the problem, I was connecting the video to a 4K screen, connecting the HDMI to a normal 1920 x 1080 monitor works fine.

@f.fallon I am trying to flash ubuntu core on Revpi Core3 but I only see Ubuntu Core logo after flash. Screen never changes. Can you tell me the steps to prepare ubuntu core image for revpi?
I am using imagebakery to customize the image obtained for raspberry pi 3 armhf
