Restoring web server

Hi everybody,

I accidentally removed the folder containing the web pages by installing a new Apache web server.
I can't reach the configuration web pages any more.
So is there a way to reinstall the initial web server ?

Thank you very much.
Pierre

Bets way would be restoring the image in order to really restore everything as it should be. You could also try a sudo apt-upgrade but I will aks our Linux team on Monday if they can provide a package just for the serverpages or give any other advice.

Hi Pierre,

the RevPi Core's web interface is contained in the Debian packages "revpi-webstatus" and "pictory".

First of all try "dpkg -l revpi-webstatus pictory". Are both packages listed as installed? ("ii" in the first column) If yes then you've got an inconsistency in that the packages are considered as installed but the files they contain have presumably been removed from the filesystem. If no then the packages have been orderly deinstalled for some reason.

In both cases "apt-get update && apt-get intall --reinstall revpi-webstatus pictory" will reinstall them.

HTH,

Lukas
