What is the different between each RJ45 connectors on RevPi Gate Modbus TCP Slave?

We have received this information today so would like share to anyone who has the same question. (Credit to Nicolai KUNBUS)
This question is related to RevPi Gate Modbus TCP Slave (Item no. 100088).
There are 2 RJ45 connectors, first one is at the front and another one is at the top of the module as in attached images.
If you wonder what are the different of these 2 connectors when you plug in LAN / ethernet cable to any of them and it still works.
Because both ports are switched, so it doesn’t matter which one you use. The other one can be used for connecting extra devices to your network.
