Low Power Mode

Post by jrileycaban »

Does the RevPi Connect+ have a low power mode? If so, what is the max current draw in this mode? Specifically I am looking for the maximum current expected at turn-on.

Thank you for your help,
Jessica

Dear Jessica,

No, there is no low power mode.
Specifically I am looking for the maximum current expected at turn-on.
I have just started a Connect, at 24 V it ran up to approx. 0.21 A at start-up and has settled at 0.15 A.
However, this also depends on your setup.
Our documentation gives the following values:
Max. power consumption 20 Watt (incl. 1 A total USB output current) --> The average power consumption without USB load varies greatly and depends on the use of the interfaces, the GPU and the CPU. It is usually well below 4 watts without HDMI.
Please check RevPi Connect+ Datasheet

Thank you very much for the information - this is helpful.

Could you tell me if the current changes if running off of a 12V supply?

Thanks again!
