My apologies if the question have been asked before, but can't see any thread on the forum.
Please advise if it will be possible to send sms notifications with the RevPi.
I am working on a project where I need to have 100 inputs where it will be either active high or active low, and when the state changes on one of the inputs then a sms notification needs to be send to 20 users with a customized message stating which input has changed with a date and time stamp on it.
I understand I will need to have a RevPi Core with 7 add on RevPi DI modules.
Thank You in advance
Werner
SMS Notification
Hello Werner, with interest I read your request. No, unfortunately we at KUNBUS do not offer anything like that.
However, there are many service providers that enable and offer SMS notifications. They usually have API interfaces that allow you to create automated SMS notifications.
I am a fan of the Python programming language. Here you can easily monitor the state of digital inputs modules and react to them.
Have a look at the example "BitMirror" - i.e. here:
"I want to write a code by using a keyboard input to control an output using a variable “LM”, how do I do that?"

Here is another helpful link to get started with Python using RevolutionPi

Here you can find the answer how many IO modules you can connect to RevPi modules:

You just have to register with your E-Mail address to access the knowledge base.
The registration page is currently in German language only so here is a short animation how it works:
