Putting RevPi Connect + Raspian in Recovery mode

Hi,

I'm having an issue in my sudoers file and need to correct it (beginners mistake).
Root access does not work, so trying to go into recovery mode using shift key (holding/toggling). However, I can't get to the recovery mode menu. Is it even possible?

The fix is using rpiboot over the microusb port
