Hello,
I am new to revolution pi and i want to set up a communication using a [frequency converter] , [RevPi connect +] and [RevPi Gate Profibus Node ID #5].
Now i wonder if this is possible without a Profibus Master? And how could i set up this configuration?
For the moment I have connected the RevPi connect + with the RevPi Gate Profibus, but the offline light keeps flashing red.

first of all:
The Rev Pi Gate Profibus is a slave.
How to Configure RevPi Gate for PROFIBUS

I would not be aware that it is possible to communicate usefully without a master in the Profibus network.
I will ask the development department if it is possible to configure the Rev Pi Connect as a Profibus master, maybe with Codesys.

Thank you for your answer!
I was trying to set up codesys for RevPi but i have a problem when i have to import the library into codesys. My library is not available under “Target -> RevPi”.

However my library is imported in codesys so it should be available.

I hope you can help me and keep me updated about the possibility to configure the Rev Pi Connect as a Profibus master.

Profibus Master is not supported on Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi which Connect uses.
Have a look at Fieldbus Support.

The images were just proof that my library wasn't available in my codesys.
When i look at the website you sended me i do not see that this software supports profiBUS, is this supported?
Also did you get any information on the posibility to configure the Rev Pi Connect as a Profibus master?

Profibus Master is not supported on Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi which Connect uses.

Profibus is generally not supported.
