Dear KUNBUS

I have an customer who want to use the revPie.
We do have an opportunity to sell 1000 units of RevPi.
Could you help us to sell? and teach about two questions below.

①Which test has the RevPI Connect passed VCCI class A or B?
If it passed the side B for example is it possible to get VCCI class A?

②CM4 would maybe release next year.
Would the KUNBUS sell the Pi4 which it would loaded CM4 in the same year?

Best Regards,
Jo Wada

Hi Jo Wada, we have a look at the Downloads section for an overview of declarations. Unfortunately the one you described "VCCI" is not listed. I'll forward your question to our specialists and respond as soon as possible.

Our products are based on the industrially compatible compute modules of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Currently, there is no CM4 (with the processor chip of the Raspberry Pi 4) available and no other information is known to us than the information from the interview with Eben Upton this summer. They suggest a CM4 in spring/summer 2021. The Raspberry Pi Foundation is very cautious about its information policy, even towards larger customers like us. Since the interfaces of the processor chip have changed, a new internal HW architecture is necessary. If there is a CM4 in the first half of 2021, I see first products in late 2021/early 2022.

CM4 is shipping November 2020, pre-order open now. Will there be products based on CM4 and if so, when? Thanks!

Yes, we are planning to integrate the CM4 into the Revolution Pi as soon as possible. It`s one of our top priorities. Since the interfaces/layout of the CM4 changed drastically, this will unfortunately require a complete redesign of our PCBs, which will take some time. Right now we plan to release the first Revolution Pi modules featuring the CM4 in Mid 2021. We also plan to inform the community from time to time about the development process, so you and everbody else in the community knows as early as possible, what features the new RevPi will have.
