pfSense on the RevPi
Is it possible to run the pfSense firewall on the RevPi?
Unfortunately there is currently no pfSense for the RaspberryPi or RevolutionPi.
The problem is that pfSense is based on FreeBSD.
While under Linux the Foundation and a large community take care of the maintenance of the drivers for the IP cores on the Raspberry Pi SoC,
the less widespread operating systems with a correspondingly smaller community have to deal with it.
Therefore, the quality of the drivers is usually not at the same level as under Linux.
The possibilities are hotly debated in the forums.

Alternatively, there are other firewalls that work with the RaspberryPi
e.g. OPNsense https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=14875.15
But whether this firewall also works with the RevolutionPi must be tested.
