• What’s the speed of the internal bus (PIBridge)?
• What’s the maximum update rate of the IO modules (DI/AIO) via the PIBridge, how it’s influenced by number of modules (it it applies)?
• Are there plans to introduce dedicated AI (only) modules?
• which are the tested options for connection of the system to GSM? Are there plans to introduce dedicated GSM modules?
• In the price list I see: Adapter/Wless N150 PR20005: could you give me more info about this option? Is is a kind of Edimax EW-7811Un WLAN adapter?

Dear Julian, here are the answers to your questions.

Q1: What’s the speed of the internal bus (PIBridge)?
A1: This value depends on the hardware configuration of your system.
You may read out this value in not rounded miliseconds with the command

Code: Select all

piTest -r RevPiIOCycle
Q2: What’s the maximum update rate of the IO modules (DI/AIO) via the PIBridge, how it’s influenced by number of modules (it it applies)?
See A1: If you connect just one DIO module it is currently "2".

Q3: Are there plans to introduce dedicated AI (only) modules?
A3: I will discuss this with our product management.

Q4: Which are the tested options for connection of the system to GSM? Are there plans to introduce dedicated GSM modules?
See answer A2

Q5: In the price list I see: Adapter/Wless N150 PR20005: could you give me more info about this option? Is is a kind of Edimax EW-7811Un WLAN adapter?
A5: Hmm.. I think you are right, the OnlineShop lists the USB-WLAN adapter as PR200005.
