Rev Pi Connect+ hardware confusion

Hello,
I just received a Rev PI Connect+ for testing. I'm a little confused on what I've actually got. The front says "Connect+", the side panel says just "RevPi Connect". The front barcode says "100304". That seems to be the Connect+". What compute module is inside it? The spec sheet says it should be a "Broadcom BCM2837B0", but when I "cat /proc/cpuinfo" it shows "Hardware : BCM2835", which is ARMv7. That is consistent with a CM1, which is quite old. A CM3 should be an ARMv8. So what is it?
