Regarding the micro-Usb port

Hello!
I have a question regarding the micro-Usb port located at the front of the RevPi Core.
Is it possible to use this from the system itself?
I would like to emulate a mass-storage device via kernel driver g_mass_storage.
I understand this is not it's intended use but I would like to know if it's technically possible.
Maybe like partitioning the eMMC to have one partition acting as mass storage while the system is running
from another partition?
