Encoder Input

Hi, what is the maximum frequency of the encoder input on the DI modules. I have a RevPi Core3 with a DI module collecting data from a manufacturing process and when the encoder reaches about 1.2khz it starts to "miss" pulses and the actual count starts to decrease with speed instead of increasing. I wrote the program using Revpimodio and everything works fine until the speed increases, we solved it by using an encoder with a smaller ppr but this is obviously a work around for now.

Hi,
the maximum frequency resolution of the counter inputs is 2kHz. This means you can count a maximum of 500 pulses per second with one encoder.
How many pulses do you count at 1.2kHz?
