RevPi Connect with Japanese typewriting

Hello,

I want to typewrite Japanese word in the graphical interface of RevPi Connect. In order to do that, I had already installed ibus-anthy or fcitx-mozc, both of the icons can show in my task bar, and it declares that the input method had already been set to Japanese input, but it just doesn't work, it is always English. Could you pls tell me how to deal with that? Thank you!
