Hello,
I just received my RevPi, connected it to my network and started the RevPi up.
But I do not find it with advanced IP scanner.
Is the RevPi set to DHCP by default?
cannot find RevPi on the network
Re: cannot find RevPi on the network
Hi yes the RevPi is set to DHCP by default. In case you have a Micro HDMI cable and a HDMI monitor you can see the boot messages and at the end the IP address is displayed.
Maybe it has received an IPv6 IP address ... by accident? Alternatively you can set a static IP address in the file "cmdline.txt" like so: https://elinux.org/RPi_cmdline.txt
In case nothing helps you can try to setup a dhcp server and connect your RevPi to this interface. I have good experience with https://www.dhcpserver.de/cms/

Re: cannot find RevPi on the network
hello,
thx for the reply
I do not have a micro HDMI cable, so I'm not able to connect my RevPi to a monitor
I'll search a little bit further before installing a dhcp server on my PC
edit : found the problem. Another module on the network caused problems with my wired network and since my laptop was connected over wifi, I didn't see the link
