POE to power
Are there any plans to support a POE option for powering the Core module from a POE capable switch?
No definitely not. The main reason is the immense demands of EN61131-2 regarding surge and burst stability which does result in very sophisticated power supplies and naturally also our modular concept. You need to power the rest of the modules too. The PoE is designed to deliver 13W after all power losses. This is not enough for a system with Core, DIO and Gateways.
