Hi
I am configuring a RevPI DIO module in Pictory and I am a bit confused about the number of input and output variables.
The module has 14 input pins and 14 output pins but in Pictory 16 input and 16 output variables are listed.
Is it me who got something wrong, is it a bug in Pictory or can these 2x2 variables be used for something?
Best regards

RevPI DIO Pictory configuration
Re: RevPI DIO Pictory configuration
The Hardware is nearly the same for DIO/DI/DO except for some unpopulated driver chips. The DI and DO have 16 Input or 16 Outputs respective. From a software point of view the modules are all treated the same, so for a DIO the uppermost 2 bits are ignored.
Re: RevPI DIO Pictory configuration
Ok a little confusing but thanks for the info.
I have two DIO modules so I will try naming the input variables I_1 to I_28 and O_1 to O_28 and see how that goes.
