I consider to connect strain gauges to the AIO module and read them with RevPiConnect ( via python )
Has anyone ever worked with strain gages and can recommend a particular model that is suitable for the Revolution Pi ?

I am doing this using a strain gauge interface. This is similar to what we be done for a plc system.
5604058 is the phoenix contact part number. Weidmuller and others also manufacturer these.
There are less expensive ways to do this using thing like the Sparkfun openscale products but they are not suitable for industrial applications.
