RevPi response to electrical noise

Post by dgarcoe »

Dear all,

We have a use case where there are compressors working at 110kW, 315 kW and even 500kW. Is the RevPi designed to avoid interferences and electrical noise problems coming from these sources?

Thanks!

Hello dgarcoe,

I am using the RevPi in similar applications, installed in a cabinet with a variable frequency drive.
The RevPi itself has had zero problems in this environment. If your your compressors are VFD powered and these VFDs and their output cables are close to your control cable, you will want to be sure to follow good panel building and wiring practices, but not any different than what you would do for a plc in the same cabinet . If you build your cabinet and have it installed correctly you shouldn't have any problems.
