Update Node-Red

I'll want to know how can I update Node-Red, I tried some commands that are on the forum but I have not been able to update it.

Hi, which commands you have tried yet? What error has been shown up then? I can understand the troubles you have as I also have run into troubles a time ago when I tried updating the Node-RED Dashboard.
So the basis is NodeJS and Node-RED has a plugin system which enables other functionality i.e. the dashboard. Have a look here: https://nodered.org/docs/getting-started/raspberrypi
