Hi,
we are starting a project right now for a big company and are seriously thinking about using revPi for the hardware side, but we need some information before selecting this hardware.
Long-term availability: CM3+ ensures production until january of 2026. Is there any expected long-term availability by your side? Any plans for CM4 when available?
Lead time: Do you have an estimation of the maximum and averge lead time?
Bulk rates: After our POC, we will need hundreds of different modules (i.e., 300 of each one). Is there any disccount for bulk purchases (We are thinking on Connect+, CAN BUS, DIO).
Custom Enclosure : Is there any public pricing, or minimum order qty for a custom enclosure?
Thanks!
Long-term availability
Hi alvarolb, the delivery capability of the CM3, is guaranteed by the RaspberryPi Foundation until 2026.
If we have a contract about a longer availability we can make a secure storage of the needed amount.
When the CM4 is available we will also integrate it in our RevPi Familiy. This will need some weeks work, because the CM4 will not Pin compatible with the CM3 due to USB3.0 and 1GB Ethernet.
We can deliver from stock. For bigger amounts it makes sense to make a frame contract (with better prices). Please contact our salesteam at sales@kunbus.com.
For custom branding the MOQ is about 500/year with an addional one time cost . Please ask our sales team for an official offer.
