Broadcasting CANBUS messages

Hi,
I have a revpi and a Con module. I am new to CANBUS, and I haven't been able to find documentation about broadcasting messages from a revpi using the con module. Could anyone please point me at the right direction? I would prefer a python library, but I can work with most languages if necessary.
