1. Does revolution pi have a buffer storage so as when internet is lost the data is not lost and stored in the buffer.
2. If available, how much is the buffer storage.
3. For Modbus RTU Gateway please confirm whether the RTU gateway has Isolation or not. (Those information’s are missing in manual too).
Buffer Storage?
Dear Julian,
1. the RevPi has an eMMC to store data permanent and a flash memory. As the data you receive or transmit depend on an application it is the job of a software engineer to handle this in the application layer to use either the eMMC or the flash memory for this buffering.
2. Have a look at the spec sheets on the dowload area. There you may find the technical data. I.e. the RevPi Core 3 has 4Gb of eMMC and 1Gb of ram memory, etc.
3. Could you specify your question? What do you mean by isolation? Here is the product landing page which you may use to describe your issue: https://www.kunbus.com/modular-gateways.html
