Revpi Core PiSerial Failure and Communication issue

Post by Zenbe »

Hi Revpi Team,

I have two Revpi Core 3. On one revpi, when I load a new image on it and enter its serial and its Mac address, it gives me this :

Second issue, on the two Revpi, I'm not able to communicate with AIO module even if this one is well configured in Pictory and plugged. The power LED keeps blinking red

I hope we can solve the problems.

Thank you in advance

Dear Zenbe,
please update the "piserial" package and try it again please. It looks like this similar problem unfortunately in German language.

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt install piserial
The AIO communication problem may be caused by the switching latency of the power supply.
The power supply from our shop has a latency of about 5 ms which works perfect.
Please check your power supply latency i.e. with an oscilloscope or try to use one from our shop.

Dear Dirk,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, even after upgrading piSerial, issue is still there.
Concerning communication with AIO, i tried with three others power supply of which one was already used with revpi 6 months ago, but the result was the same.

Do you have other ideas to solve these problems?
