List of Approved 3G/4G USB adapters ?

Post by rossyduck »

I am hoping to use a 3/4G USB wireless adapter. From past experience with other devices some dongles do not work. Is there an approved list of 3/4G dongles that work with the device - and have drivers ?

Dear rossyduck, there is unfortunately no such list that I can provide for you as this is a general Linux compatibility question. But we have USB Wireless sticks in our shop that work with the RevPi.

Dirk,

I have now got my hands on the Edimax USB stick. The RevPi seems to see it - but Linux is not my first language. Can you send me a link as to how I can configure mode (client/ AP/ Mesh) and SSID/ pw please.

We've found the Verizon USB dongle to work very well with no configuration needed.
