Hi
I am wondering if RevPi ConCAN module has galvanic isolation?
I did measurement resistance between CPU power supply and CAN-H and CAN-L. The result shows HIGH resistance (O L) so I expect that there is some kind of isolation, but I am not sure.
is ConCAN with galvanic isolation?
Re: is ConCAN with galvanic isolation?
Hi,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, I must inform you that the CAN side of the CON CAN module is not galvanically isolated.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

Re: is ConCAN with galvanic isolation?
Thanks for you response.
When you mentioned "CAN side of the CON CAN module is not galvanically isolated", how about "other side" ?
May I have CAN side circuit schematic of this CON CAN module?
Does the RevPi Connect S 32GB CPU module has galvanically isolated component?
Do you have suggestion to use RevPi CPU and modules in maritime application to avoid earth failure? Could it help if we have RevPi CPU with ConCAN module after an power isolator?
