Problems connecting IFM IO-link master to a Rev PI connect S

Post by Daan Hoogeveen »

I’m currently trying to connect an IFM IO-link master AL1306 to a Rev PI connect S. I was trying with a collegue to connect a IFM IO-link master AL1306 to the Rev PI however we can’t make the connection. We don’t know the solution for this problem, we used multiple instructions but can’t make a connection. Are there some extra steps we need to do to connect an IFM IO-link master to the Rev PI connect S?

Hi, okay, would you like to implement communication via the PROFINET interface? Then you can implement this with CODESYS, for example.
So IFM IO-Link master - PROFINET - RevPi Connect.
Take a look at this video tutorial about commissioning CODESYS - here I am using a RevPi Connect 4 but this also works on RevPi Connect S:
Or if you prefer to read it - take a look at the CODESYS Checklist:

Then follow the tutorial "Example for CODESYS with a PROFINET IO Controller and a PROFINET IRT Gateway" and use your own GSDML file.
