Post by c.weninger »

Hey,
has the Debian Bullseye image for the RevPi been released yet?
If not, when will it come?

Thanks a lot

There is no precise information on this. It is planned to release the image on Bulle Eye with the Revolution Pi 4.

Hi,
I'd also like to inquire about the status of the Bullseye release.
EOL for Debian Buster was last September, it's been two years since the stable Debian Bullseye release, one year since the Raspbian release.
This is frankly unacceptable.

Best regards

Due to removed support of azure iot edge runtime for Debian 10 in the current LTS version 1.5.x, I need to get Debian 11 supported on our devices. In the end of this year, we want to scale our solution to approx. 10 devices and even more in 2025. Thus, an late update to Debian Bullseye will become much more harder. Please give me some hint when Bullseye will be available for PR100378 (RevPi Connect 4 32GB w/o Wifi)

update
Bulleseye is available, but I installed Debian 10 explicitly. IoT edge runtime supports only arm32/v7 - not arm64 architecture on bullseye at the moment. Plz ignore this answer.
