Hi everyone,
I recently got a Revolution Pi Connect 4 along with the MIO module, and I'm looking to collect process data from a WIKA A-10 pressure sensor. This sensor is a 2-wire, 4-20 mA type.
My question is: How can I connect this sensor to the PLC and read the data using piTest? I tried connecting the U+ from the sensor to IN1 of the PLC and U- from the sensor to ground, but it didn't work for me. Do I need any additional signal conditioning, such as the Phoenix Contact MCR-SL-U-I-UI-SL, to convert the 4-20 mA from the sensor to 0-10V?
I read that the input of the analog MIO module measures voltage (0-10V) and nothing about handling current directly. Is it possible to configure this in Pictory to read current inputs, or is a signal conditioner necessary?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Connecting Analog Sensor to RevPi MIO Module
Hi Jow W. and welcome to the Revolution Pi Community.
The analogue inputs of the RevPi MIO only work with voltage measurement (0-10V).
You can work with the RevPi AIO module as it supports such current measurements, e.g. 0-20mA.
