Pictory Login

Post by PutR »

We cannot access the pictory webpage anymore, each time we try to login we are returned to the login page.
We can reset the password to the factory default one or change it but can't login properly.
We tried clearing the browser cache and tried it on edge, Firefox and chrome remotely and also locally on the RevPi itself.

We have 2 revpi connect modules with the same isseu, but they are isolated from the internet.
If an update is require please keep in mind its not possible to connect them to the internet.

buster
apache server is running
pictory/now 2.0.4 all [Installiert,lokal]
revpi-webstatus/now 1:2.0.2-1 all [Installiert,lokal]
revpi-tools/now 1.0.15-2 armhf [Installiert,lokal]

Since when does the error occur?

Since last year.
Only thing we have done is added a dio module with pictory, changed the hostname and configured a static ip and installed docker.
But now we can't access pictory anymore.

We have once run out of disk space but have limited our containers for now, to not take up to much disk space.
We have 10 new RevPi's on the way with 64GB but the actual 2 RevPi's are 8GB.

Looks OK. Maybe someone changed the pictory password (esp. if the system has not been updated and it worked before). You can try to reset the pasword (link on login page).

I have also tried stopping all containers and rebooting, but no improvement.

I have already tried this and was able to reset the password, but I can't login.
There is no warning when I use the correct password, the status page loads for a second but then I'm immediately returned to the login page.
When I enter a wrong password it gives a warning.
I can login with ssh on the RevPi.

How does the /var/www/revpi/data/login.json look like (if there is something in ownPW, there is a custom pw, make sure to redact it)?

Login.json contains:

Code: Select all

{"username":"admin","ownPW":"","lastLogin":"2023-01-11 11:40:15"}
After removing the line when trying to login pictory says:

Code: Select all

ERROR: User unknown or password invalid
After resetting the default password, pictory says:

Code: Select all

Password has been reset ...
After trying to login the issue remains and the same line is automatically added in the login.json.
