at the beginning after install it works very well on the Desktop Environments however every time I upgrade I encounter the problem I remain blocked on the login page the user and the password are correct because I can connect in SSH via putty.

Re: Loop in login page after upgrade
Ran into the same problem with Raspbian Buster 10 on RevPi Connect S controller. Is there a solution?
Re: Loop in login page after upgrade
Which version of Webstatus and image are you using before and after?
Re: Loop in login page after upgrade
I was able to reproduce the error and we will soon release an update in order to fix this. Until then you can use the following hotfix: https://gist.github.com/nbuchwitz/3b790 ... edbe995cf0

Hi everyone
I'm happy to annouce that we just uploaded a fixed version of RevPi-tools (2.0.1-1). After an update via "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade" everything should work as expected.
Happy hollidays,
Nicolai

Re: Loop in login page after upgrade
Hey we are facing the same (or a similar issue).
We have 2 revpi connect modules, but they are isolated from the internet.
Can you provide a way to update these without requiring internet or a working patch (the aforementioned patch is not executable)
buster
apache server is running
pictory/now 2.0.4 all [Installiert,lokal]
revpi-webstatus/now 1:2.0.2-1 all [Installiert,lokal]
revpi-tools/now 1.0.15-2 armhf [Installiert,lokal]

Hi,
the bug discussed in this ticket only applies to revpi-tools=2.0.0-1 (due to changes made in this version). You're running an older version which is not affected of (at least) this bug. Therefore I would kindly ask you to open a new thread and provide more details about your setup & problem.
