Hi,
i received a "Revolution Pi connect" module form a former colleague and i want to connect to it. The problem is, if i want to connect with mini USB it doesn't react and is not like plug and play, as it has been shown in videos. The LAN is also not possible. I can see the IP address with "advance ip scanner" and when i give it to "putty" the time out error hopes out. I cannot connect to the RevPi and need some help.
thanks in advance for any tip
Problem connecting to RevPi Connect with LAN and mini USB
Re: Problem connecting to RevPi Connect with LAN and mini USB
Hi Pouyan,
If a micro USB cable is connected to the revpi the internal USB hub is disabled (the compute module has only one host port which is switched). As the network is connected via USB, this means that the network port is disabled too. For accessing the RevPi via USB filesystem you need the program rpiboot (see our image installation tutorial for more details).
