Updated RevPi using the latest Buster image, and I can't get into the web ui
I just flashed a revpi core with the Buster image (7/21). I ssh in, set the serial and MAC, then apt update & apt upgrade. Right after that, I can't log into the web portal with any password. The ssh prompt works just fine, and the password on the side of the module matches the password after entering the serial and MAC. I'm stuck, anything you can think of to try?

Hi capucsc,
is there any error message? Which username to you use for the web login?

Re: Updated RevPi using the latest Buster image, and I can't get into the web ui
[SOLVED]
Hello,
I got the same problem:
I boot Buster into Revolution Pi COMPACT.
After boot. I can not login ssh (user: pi, password: "on side stick") neither web ui (user: admin, password: "on side stick")
Which default password is used for this image?

Best Regards,
[SOLUTION]
Default password for Raspbian is "raspberry"
Then the Revolution device ask you to follow the steps:
Write Serial
Write MAC
- Automatically it Mount partitions
And that's it
Thanks,

Hi @capucs,
The password for web ui is not updated when you update pi password,
The password into web ui is "on the sticker",
You can change the admin password into the web ui > <ip>:41080 > right-down corner > Change password.
Best regards,
Mauri

Re: Updated RevPi using the latest Buster image, and I can't get into the web ui
I am curious. What advantage do you gain if you change the ssh password which is protected by encryption at login time if you set the web UI password to the same value since the web login is done unencrypted in clear text? I understand that you can set two different password for ssh and web UI but that doubles the administrative overhead compared to retaining the factory default password and you can still not protect web logins against snooping.
