Missing documentation on MIO

Post by toernblom »

Hey, i need to use 24V on the digital outputs of the MIO.
It says in https://revolutionpi.com/tutorials/pin-belegung-core-2/
that GPO 24V level output is possible, however. There's no documentation on how to enable 24V output. Currently my output is ~8V and I'm not sure how to configure it in pictory.

Hi,

how have you wired the ground connection?
The digital inputs and outputs use the same ground as the analog inputs and outputs. For this reason you should use one of the system ground connections on the 28-pin connector strip. If you don”t use this ground, it”s possible that your values will be distorted. If the voltage between the system ground and the ground of the digital inputs and outputs is too high, the protective diode can also be destroyed.

Please also make sure, that you have configured the module correctly in pictory (see attached screenshot).
