Hello,
I flashed the Buster image to Cloudrail, but when I booted the device, and connected with Putty, it requested serial number & MAC address. I entered the Cloudrail serial number and the MAC address of the device but the device was still requesting the serial number & MAC address. I think that the Cloudrail serial number is not valid for configuring the new image. Is there any other serial number that I can use? Please let me know

Hi Nick,
the serial number is not getting validated at any point. You can enter what ever you like.
If you flash any of our devices you need to configure the device:
- device type
- Serial number
- mac address
This is not a step to verify that you have a valid device, it is just that we have currently no way to recover these infor5mation when you flash a device. If you get asked over and over you there is something strange.
For a Clopudrail device you should be fine with the following values:
- device type: Connect
- Serial Number: anything
- mac address: any valid mac address
Best regards,
Philipp
