Cannot find my module in PiCtory
Cannot find my module in PiCtory
I have a DIO Module with 14 outputs and 14 inputs. But the DIO Module in PiCtory suggest 34 of each... I tried it, and run piTest but the outputs are not working. I tied also to write a bit directly to address 70. But no success.
Is there a way to get this module working?

Re: Cannot find my module in PiCtory
Hi PJA,
yes this is correct. The higher numbers is because the other features like PWM and Counter are included in this number. The hardware modul has still 14 inputs and 14 outputs.
To help you with your problem, please share a screenshot of your pictory configuration and also the output of the command 'piTest -d'.

Re: Cannot find my module in PiCtory
Hi
I'm working with PJA on this. Here's the output as you requested. The RevPi DIO is connected, and we tried varying the input/output in the meny, with no success. 'piTest -d' gives us that the module is not available. I have attached the screenshots from the terminal and pictory

Re: Cannot find my module in PiCtory
Hi teg,
Thanks for the pictures of your setup. Looks like the aio is missing the power connection. Please remove the PiBridge between the duo and io or wire the aio according to our documentation.

Re: Cannot find my module in PiCtory
Thanks Nicolai
However, the AIO isn't used at all at the moment, we are just having issues with the DIO.

Re: Cannot find my module in PiCtory
Hi teg,
Please remove the PiBridge connector between DIO and AIO as this might causes trouble with the module detection logic.
