The Target cpu architecture is not supported: ARMv6l

Post by battus »

Hello,

I have a revolution PI Core where I want to install codesys. I did this in the past without any problems but now it doesn't seem to work.

Whey i use the Tools -> Update Rasberry Pi option in CODESYS, i get the following msg:

"We discovered that on your target is no current "CODESYS Edge Gateway for Linux" installed. We highly recommend installing the newest version. Do you want this. " YES/ NO.

I Press yes but then i get a error message:
"The target cpu architecture is not supported: ARMV6l"

i can not find any documentation on this, who can help me?

We were able to successfully reproduce the problem. It is a bug that can be worked around. At the moment we are researching if there are better possibilities than the ones we know.

Hi can you post the product number of your device? Not the serial number.
The codesys control for raspberry pi Multicore version needs to be installed on RevPi Core 3.
Perhaps you have tried to install the Single Core runtime version earlier.
ARMV6l is for single core support in Codesys.
If multicore version is installed then the architecture is automatically set to ARMV7l and the error can be avoided.
