Dear Alf, this seams strange. The RevPi Connect has a built in RTC which is 24 hours buffered. So maybe you just have to synchronize it after a reboot? Maybe the ideas of this posts can help you.

Hi with ModbusRTU you can use the RS485 connector on the front of the RevPi Connect. The device path for this interface is "/dev/ttyRS485". Have a look at the Video Tutorials Tutorial 23 – Modbus RTU Slave and Tutorial 21 – Modbus RTU Master.
