Re: Ubuntu Core No Video Out
Found the problem, I was connecting the video to a 4K screen, connecting the HDMI to a normal 1920 x 1080 monitor works fine.

Ubuntu Core No Video Out
As the title suggests after installing the Ubuntu Core image, I get no HDMI output to setup the device. Is the device compatible with this OS?

Re: Revolution Pi Crash
No, my temperature comment was a comment to Frank's worrying about 55 °C. Yes if your temp raises up over 70°C my experience is that there is a very tight loop extensively consuming CPU time. It sounds very likely that your "crash" is instead a bug trapping the CPU in an endless loop so t...

Re: Loosing Time
S5? Bridgport VMC1000? I was talking about 21st centuries industry ;-) Sorry, just kidding. But the reality is 9 out of 10 modern systems will not use batteries and there are many reasons for it. But the most important reason is: RevPi is aiming to the I 4.0 and IoT gateway market and even if used ...

Re: Revolution Pi Crash
Hi, I need to report news in the opposite direction unfortunately. A premise, I haven't flashed the revpi back to the factory settings because I wanted to make sure the power source was not the problem. Frank's issue seems solved and of different nature, let me know if I should move the conversatio...

Re: Revolution Pi Crash
Hi, if it helps, this is the configuration that went completely "red" with the revpi3. https://imgur.com/jpVWSQx But the issue appeared also without any modules, usb etc. attached. I have replaced the revpi3 with a revpi1 in the meantime to rule out the power supply is causing the issue. ...

Re: Revolution Pi Crash
Hi, Frank I meant to contribute with some more information since my RevPi raised the issue immediately after the unpacking and updating and I have been investigating it for a while. My contribution was meant to provide help for both and not hijack the attention to two different threads, apologies i...

Re: Revolution Pi Crash
I'm sorry to hear that you both have experienced trouble . The facts you have reported do not give any clue why your system acts as it does. We could try finding out reasons but this will be a difficult task to be done by email and forum. All I can offer is the following: 1) Please do download the ...
