Re: RevPi Connect 4 Wifi 2.4Ghz problems
Hello, I'm attaching a pic of the log when the issue occurs, unfortunately couldn't get it in text format as the system wipes it out. This is a pic at the moment at which I plug in a Wi-Fi adapter into a USB port. It says "alignment fault", I assume in my case there is a 32/64 bit issue. C...

Re: RevPi Connect 4 Wifi 2.4Ghz problems
Update: I am using a Revolution Pi Core S. I used the latest Bullseye image to update to 64-bit OS and whenever I start the GUI and my 2.3GHz Wi-Fi adapter tries to connect to the network, everything freezes as if the kernel is in an infinite loop - cursors or Num Lock don't move or blink and nothin...

Re: RevPi Connect 4 Wifi 2.4Ghz problems
Hello, I might have a related issue. I've just written the Bullseye image on a Revolution Pi and when I attach a WLAN adapter to a USB port and try to connect to the network through it, the system freezes. I will update you if I find anything interesting. Kind regards, Todor Edit: I am talking about...

What is the recommended software for creating HMI running on the RevPi Core?
Hello world, I am looking for suggestions about HMI design software that can run directly on the RevPi Core S, with an HDMI cable connected to a simple monitor and the running HMI is not browser-based. This is the set up I am considering right now: 1. The HMI design tool should create its own execut...

Re: Node-Red package node-red-node-serialport does not work on the built-in Node-Red and NodeJS for RevPi Core S
Thank you Dirk,
The issue was with node, npm, Node-Red and the node-red-node-serialport module version compatibilities. After updating Node-Red and node as per the link you provided, using that update script, I can see the serial ports nodes displayed on the palette.

Re: RS485ErrorCnt in RevPi Core S
Hello Stefan, Thanks for the feedback! I still don't get this part - the register is exposed to be visible to the user, but it is very tricky to actually observe any changes happening to it. How I got it is by accidentally adding a debug node in my Node-Red flow. Whatever value is seen on this regis...

Re: Status-LEDs
Hello! Please correct me if I'm wrong but this is bit 0 that is blinking, which means "picontrol running", so everything seems in order. When I had the exact same issue it was because I messed up the X4 connections as described here: https://revolutionpi.com/tutorials/uebersicht-revpi-conn...

Node-Red package node-red-node-serialport does not work on the built-in Node-Red and NodeJS for RevPi Core S
Hello world! The package node-red-node-serialport gets installed with its expected false error if installed through the Manage palette -> Install but doesn't appear in the palette afterwards. Installing it with npm doesn't improve the situation. From what I understand, this package maybe will start ...

RS485ErrorCnt in RevPi Core S
Hello world! I've been setting up a configuration with RevPi Core, AIO and DIO and our HMI through Node-Red. I am reading about the RS485* registers in the Core and don't understand how I got the situation on the attached image. The image is showing a debug node I left in Node-Red showing the RS485E...
