This is great - put a link on the site? Or English site?
Hello all, My small integration company started using Kunbus hardware over a year and a half ago. We've been supporting our own (much lower quality) versions of revpi comms for python. I just easily replaced my own hacky nonsense with the very clean implementation of RevPiModIO. My tiny complaint - ...

Re: piTest not working with DIO, despite -d normal, "Internal Error"
Does _config.rsi not get overwritten by pictory or the image flash? As soon as I can I will nano that file and see what it looks like.
Working on checking that command, network and power is down right now.

Re: piTest not working with DIO, despite -d normal, "Internal Error"
Additionally, I can write to the RevPiLED of the Core without issue. LEDs on the DIO are: PWR: green OUT: green and IN: red. The DIO is wired up to a local circuit which controls some relays. The circuit has been tested in the past, using both piTest and our own scripts. Hoping to get into productio...

piTest not working with DIO, despite -d normal, "Internal Error"
Hey all, It's been a while but the Core and DIO modules have been a blast!!! Until recently... The piTest functions were easily accessible and highly reliable for reading and writing to the DIO connected to our Core, but recently (unsure exactly when) the piTest -r and -w functions have ceased to wo...

Re: Car battery through X2 DO?
Okay, so assuming that I have somehow fried the thing, is there some way to check it against what should be observable in an unfried DIO? Honestly, I don't trust my own power of observation all that much on the 30V thing, it is a new 12V battery, and usually provides somewhere in the range of 12V. I...

Re: Car battery through X2 DO?
Attached is the output of ./piTest -d. This has been configured this way since unboxing and initial config. Is it possible that the DO is receiving overvoltage? The highest I've ever observed it at was around 30V, as the battery itself fluctuates. However, the status of the LED's did not change even...

Re: Car battery through X2 DO?
Figured out how to attach files, derp Please see the following. The problem which still persists is that regardless of what I write to the pins (now only using the ./piTest -w O_1,0 command in the demo file) they all continue to complete the circuit and turn on the LED. Thank you again for your advi...

Re: Car battery through X2 DO?
Sincere thanks for your manifold and prompt replies. As regards wiring of the X2 for the DIO, I have found the source of the error! This page https://revolution.kunbus.com/tutorials/connecting-power-supply/ has missing information which is correctly displayed on this page https://revolution.kunbus.d...

Re: Car battery through X2 DO?
For clarification I attempted to add some pictures of my wiring, however, I'm not finding an option to include an image file. Allow me to describe briefly the wiring as it is now, and the behavior exhibited: Battery + ---> DO 24V on the X2 DO 0V on X2 ---> Battery - Any DO, regardless of what I writ...

Re: Car battery through X2 DO?
Thanks so much for the response, I will be investigating! The lack of English tutorials has slowed me down a bit but I totally understand. The one question I've had (for a while actually) about the link that you posted - the wiring described on the DIO page for the X2 is only the live wire on the le...
