RevPi Core 3 Storage space
I have been installing some software I have created on a RevPi Core 3 and I am getting low on drive space. I am thinking about removing some packages such as the GUI and maybe Node-Red that we are not using to free some space. I wanted to see if you have any recommendations on how to free up some mo...

Re: Analog distance sensor on AIO module
User error!
It was a wiring issue with the sensor. It's now reporting between the expected 0-10 volts, and the system is working nicely.
Thank you for all your help.

Re: Analog distance sensor on AIO module
Thank you! I'm now receiving values from the sensor. The voltage range of the sensor is 0-10v. The piTest tool reports values between 57 and1888 (0.057v- 1.888v, I assume). Is this the result of " parasitic resistors " described in your documentation? Are these values what I should expect ...

Analog distance sensor on AIO module
I'm trying to hook up an analog distance sensor to the AIO module, and I'm having trouble. The sensor sensor I purchased operates at 24 volts and outputs 0-10V. I'm having trouble figuring out how to hook it up Here's what I've tried: 1) Hook up positive (brown) sensor wire to pin 27, negative (blue...

Re: PNP sensor using RevPi DIO module
Yes, we are using two power supplies. Our problem was we weren't connecting the power supply of the sensor to the X2 of the DIO module. When we did so, we began receiving value changes from the sensor.
Thank you for your help.

PNP sensor using RevPi DIO module
I have purchased a RevPi DIO module, a 24V Mean Well power supply, and a PNP ultrasonic proximity sensor and I'm having difficulty getting I_1 to change from 0 to 1. I used this tutorial as a guide. (One big difference between the tutorial and my setup is the lack of a Common port on the RevPi DIO) ...

Re: Inputs not updating
Thank you for your response. I am going to check if my sensor is a NPN type. If it is a NPN I will get a PNP type sensor and give that a try.
Yes the sensor is of that type. Thank you for your information that clears up a lot of my questions.

Inputs not updating
I have 2 modules connected together a Rev Pi Core 3 and Rev Pi DIO modules. I have configured them using the PICtory tool as follows: 1) Rev Pi Core V1.2 5 input and 3 outputs 2) Rev PI DIO 34 input and 32 outputs. I have connected a Sunfounder Metal Touch sensor to I_1 ( input I1) of the DIO module...
