Re: Behavior of RevPi DIO input nodes at turn on in a Node-Red setting
Hi crismancich, I solved the problem by using your suggestion in a ladder structure, precisely the one shown in the picture below: Schermata 2021-12-18 alle 18.25.57.png The input of this submodule is activated at start-up: the shown subflow then takes a screenshot of the input status and send it as...

Re: Behavior of RevPi DIO input nodes at turn on in a Node-Red setting
HI crismancich, Thank you for the flow you suggested: do this implies that it is not possible to "take a picture" of all inputs jointly, for example by using some initial state of the node revpi-multiple-input ? I mean, if I need to know the state of all inputs at a given time, possibly in...

Behavior of RevPi DIO input nodes at turn on in a Node-Red setting
The title says all: I'd like to know if a message is generated at turn on to make a Node-Red system aware of the status of DIO inputs. I see that when an input changes, the associated payload property assumes a string value "1": however the other properties have an integer 0 or 1 value, th...

Re: A problem with the Official Node-Red Revolution Pi Nodes
Hi Amar, I just tried your solution: it works perfectly, as my workaround does. Thank you very much. Hi Daniele, Could you please repost the screenshots attached in your post since they are not visible. I would recommend you to carry out following steps so that I can reproduce the issue: 1) Flash la...

Re: What if pin 3 of the X4 connector of a DIO has been erroneously connected to ground?
Hi Johannes, I had a conversation with our hardware team. You should not expect any damage in your described case. Resetting after few seconds? Maybe 60 seconds? Maybe you mean the Watchdog? Watchdog After your Iatest message, I checked and I found that you're right: the connector change in the late...

Hi Daniele, Hi Johannes, and first of all thanks for your help. for better understanding: X4:1 connected to 24 V X4:2 unconnected X4:3 connected to Ground X4:4 connected to FE Right? No, the sequence was X4:1 connected to 24 V X4:2 connected to Ground X4:3 connected to Ground X4:4 connected to FE T...

Re: A problem with the Official Node-Red Revolution Pi Nodes
@Julian, first of all I apologize for the later in my answer. Perhaps you have to configure again the inputs by using Pictory: I did it so and I have not seen the issue you are experimenting.

What if pin 3 of the X4 connector of a DIO has been erroneously connected to ground?
I am well aware that, as advised by this manual web page , pin 3 of the X4 connector of the DIO should be left unconnected: however our electrician has employed a new person who does not know well the electrical schematics of the electrical cabinet where we mount a RevPi Connect+DIO pack, so they ha...
